On August 28, 2014, a disciplinary panel of the Texas Medical Board temporarily suspended,
with notice, the Texas medical license of Kenneth Scott Koeneman, M.D., an Irving physician,
after determining his continuation in the practice of medicine would constitute a continuing
threat to the public welfare. The suspension was effective immediately.
The Board panel found it has probable cause to believe Dr. Koeneman is unable to safely
practice medicine due to a physical or mental impairment. Dr. Koeneman was given the
opportunity to present evidence to the contrary.
The temporary suspension remains in place until the Board takes further action.
