To be or not to be, a comedian at work? Normally the answer would be a resounding, “no”! Work usually involves a professional setting. If you are a comic, then telling a joke at the comedy club would be appropriate. However, usually when you are at work, where your job description does entail telling jokes, then to do so would be considered unprofessional. Even if the person that you are speaking to loves the funny story, other parties, within earshot, may not. If this happens, this could pose a big problem for you.
